From the recently French polished top to the base of the sturdy and beautifully shaped legs everything here works together to create a simple and elegant masterpiece. The Vintage Kittinger Mahogany Console features a beautifully shaped serpentine top and front which is accented by the intricate and detailed carvings on the corners and the center medallion. Everything on this console is in original, as found, condition but the top has recently been professionally polished to give the item a “fresh from the showroom” look. Item includes an original branded furniture labels shown in the final photos.
Kittinger furniture company of Buffalo NY has been around since 1866 and they are well known for having furnished spaces such as the White House in Washington, DC. Kittinger is still in business today and their master cabinet makers do an outstanding job of combining finely veneered panels with attractive solid woods in the door and drawer frames of their pieces.
