Structure entirely in curved wood, fabric covering, internal metal structure.<\/p>\n
\nAn armchair with a decisive and rigorous design, developed by Zanuso through research into the possibility of anchoring a seating element to a wooden load-bearing structure. The study was initially carried out in 1949, for the international design competition at the MoMA in New York, and subsequently resumed in 1964 by leveraging Arflex’s advanced technology.<\/p>\n
\nThe item is in good conservative condition, there are no major aesthetic or structural defects to report, only slight and obvious signs of aging due to use and age. (See photo)<\/p>\n
