\nLiving room designed by Gio Ponti for Isa Bergamo.<\/p>\n

Elegant living room composed of a three-seater sofa and two armchairs with high backrests and refined curved lines with an unmistakable design.<\/p>\n

Made in the 1950s, they excellently represent the refined and sober style of the time.<\/p>\n

Designed by Gio Ponti one of the greatest Italian architects and designers, who dictated the style of post-war Italian design and who still today sets a precedent for innovation, creativity and beauty.<\/p>\n

Produced by ISA Industria Salotti e Arredamenti founded in the late 1940s in Ponte San Pietro, a small village outside Bergamo.<\/p>\n

In the 1950s, thanks to the success achieved by producing based on designs by great designers such as Gio Ponti and Guglielmo Veronesi, ISA increased production until it had 400 workers.<\/p>\n

The living room is in an excellent state of conservation, the wooden structure is original and intact and has no defects.<\/p>\n

The upholstery has just been replaced with a steel blue and intense forest green silk velvet which makes it modern but at the same time classic and elegant.<\/p>\n

This living room is a piece of design history, they can be combined with both modern and antique furnishings.<\/p>\n
