\nArt Deco upholstered chair “Euphoria Cubista” Misia Paris, 70’s – France<\/p>\n

This Art Deco style chair comes from France and dates back to the 1970s. The structure is made of lacquered wood with a high gloss finish. Both the seat and the backrest have been recently upholstered with a luxurious fabric from Misia Paris. Unique and precious, this fabric is part of a long tradition of master weavers.<\/p>\n

The curved design of the arms creates an extraordinary frame that highlights the upholstery also on the back. The hind legs show a delicate and original design.<\/p>\n

This chair is part of a set consisting of six in total, unupholstered.<\/p>\n

On the fabric “Cubist Euphoria”<\/p>\n

Created in collaboration with Alison Rose, a renowned New York designer working in many mediums including interior, furniture and product design, the “Euphorie Cubiste” jacquard fabric is inspired by the free and avant-garde Cubist movement of the first quarter of the century. XX. A trend that Misia reinterprets in a decidedly contemporary and inventive way. Each piece of the motif, with its own materials, textures and colors, lives independently of the others, but all responding to each other, in a collective emulsion.<\/p>\n
