Chinoiserie-style burl and black lacquer dining set by Henredon of Morganton, NC, USA circa 1980. Oval table is composed of a burl inset surface framed by a black lacquer border raised on a double pedestal with brass accents atop a stepped base. The chairs (four in total – two side, two captain) feature a black lacquered, wooden frame with burl back splats, caned seats, and brass sabots. A luxurious set in very nice, vintage condition with only a few, light scuffs to the lacquer and light wear to the unpolished, brass sabots.
\nThe circular, seat cushions are not original to the set, but can be included upon request. They are in good, vintage condition with wear \/ spotting throughout.
\nThere is no leaf for the table, as the seam suggests.
