This is a fine and rare pair of miniature Mason’s ironstone Vases or Urns, hand painted in in the beautiful “Fence, Rock and Gold Flower” pattern, which we date to circa 1820.<\/p>\n

Miniature or toy items of Masons ironstone are hard to find today.<\/p>\n

The pieces are well potted as baluster vases or urns, having two loop side handles and raised on a circular foot.<\/p>\n

The pattern is called ” Fence, rock and Gold Flower ” which is beautifully hand painted in bold enamels and rich hand gilding as illustrated on page 89 of Mason’s pattern book published by the Mason’s collectors club.<\/p>\n

Both pieces are unmarked as was often the case with these miniature pieces, but they are definitely by Mason’s.<\/p>\n

Overall a very beautiful pair of small vases.<\/span><\/p>\n
