This is a very good, dinner plate by Mason’s ironstone, England in a very decorative, hand painted floral pattern, dating to circa 1845. <\/p>\n

This is a rare pattern.<\/p>\n

The Plate is circular in shape with a wavy moulded edge.<\/p>\n

This plate has a beautiful hand enamelled floral chinoiserie influenced patterns, which depicts a large flower with other floral sprigs, all set against a black ground, producing a very decorative effect. <\/p>\n

The base of the plate has an angular crown mark and banner, with Mason’s above, printed in green.<\/p>\n

This plate dates to the mid 19th century, circa 1840s period.<\/span><\/p>\n
