Front and center is the pre-olympian God Atlas condemned to hold the world and skies for eternity. Water spouting from the top of the globe, through a metallic-pipe overflow, pours evenly towards the base of the earth fully showering his intricately carved body. Four wrought iron spigots generously spit the water back towards the center. 4 cast iron sea shells and 32 mini globes gracefully decorate the limestone base. When it comes to color, undertone and texture it is strikingly clear that this masterpiece is aged to perfection. The blend of dirt, rust, and rain provided by nature throughout the years, mixed with the natural limestone, volcanic basalt flooring, and cast/wrought iron gave this marvelous hand-carved piece of wonder a more vivid set of colors and a bolder, more lively character.
