Designed by Warren Lloyd, these chairs were manufactured in Italy by Mastercraft, famous now for their extremely high construction quality and various brass piece. These chairs are constructed of brass plated steel, and feature a marriage of design philosophies that shouldn’t work but do anyway. The base is angular, made of square brass legs and adorned lightly with brass caps beside the back. The rest of the chair is more intricate, with curvy and attractive arms and back. The design is tied together with a pleasant pale fabric. Very comfortable and sturdy, these chairs are sure to look great in your eclectic or modern home.
Condition is good for chairs that are nearly 50 years old. Few to no marks or any oxidation. Can be polished to a more mirror-like shine if you desire, but we think the slightly antiqued look suits them. The fabric is faded from their original blue color. Can be seen in the images. Please note the color reproduction in the photos is close to perfect.
We have two pairs total. We can match the shine on both pairs if you desire. We can also offer recovery services from our in-house professionals. Please inquire if interested.
