Exquisitely hand-carved mahogany throughout, including the exceptional details exhibited in the swan-neck pediment. “Blind fretted” cornice and base frieze are extraordinarily hand carved in incredible detail. “Gothic” barred glazed doors have carved Corinthian capital motifs (note thickness of barring!) Superbly book-matched “crotch” or highly-figured mahogany paneled doors with hand carved moulding open to reveal tremendous amounts of storage space. Gadroon or rope-carved base terminates in intricately carved ogee feet.

This is a quality from artisans that no longer exist. Every detail is done exquisitely and comparatively speaking, this is about as good as it gets.
