Vintage Design
Hans J. Wegner designed this model in the 1960s and the furniture has enjoyed great popularity ever since. The furniture is manufactured by the renowned Danish furniture factory Getama Danmark. The furniture is made of solid, soap-treated oak. About 10 years ago the furniture received new original Getama cushions made of cold foam and new original wool covers. This pillow set with covers is still beautiful, with light normal patina and some fading from the sun. The fabric is called Savak and here in the 240 series with a black background and white asymmetrical stripes. Footstool: Height: 40 cm. Width: 52cm. Length: 58cm.
Seat height approx. 40 cm. The set has been freshly cleaned and treated with soap.
Hans J. Wegner’s furniture is known and sought after worldwide. The quality of craftsmanship in particular ensures that this furniture series can be continued for generations.
