Wing chairs are designed in the 18th century as a protection against draughts. With exceptional grace in the rolled arms, noble curved wings, moulded Mahogany legs and a down-feather seat cushion this high quality Wood & Hogan chair is a distinguishable Chippendale example.
Extremely comfortable and long lasting. This chair has been upholstered by a superior upholsterer who works with natural materials (Cotton, Hair, Jute, Hand Tied Springs, Spit Tacks, Etc) with traditional methods. Frame construction is kiln-dried Maple, double doweled and glued with screwed and glue corners blocks for substantial strength. Finished by hand.
Additional chairs can be ordered on a “customer own material” (COM) basis. Customers would need to provide 7 yards of 50″ plain fabric. Large repeats will require additional fabric. 8 to 10 week delivery once material has been received.
