This is a very good stone China (Ironstone) Saucer Dish or Deep Plate, hand painted in the tobacco leaf pattern, number 2061, made by the Spode factory in the early 19th century, English Georgian period, circa 1820.
The dish or plate is made from Ironstone China and beautifully decorated with hand painted different coloured enamels in the very distinctive tobacco leaf pattern, pattern number 2061. The decoration is enhanced with hand gilded gold detailing.
The side base has the Spode Stone China mark, printed in blue, as used by the factory from 1815-1825, with a hand painted mark by the foot rim in green enamel, which is probably the painters mark
