This is a good stone China (Ironstone pottery) Small Dish or Bowl / Saucer, hand painted in the tobacco leaf pattern, number 2061, made by the Spode factory in the early 19th century, English Georgian period, circa 1820.
The dish / bowl is made from Ironstone China and beautifully decorated with hand painted enamels in the very distinctive tobacco leaf pattern, pattern number 2061. The hand decoration also has very good gold gilded detail with all the painting very well done, as usual with the Spode factory.
The base has the “Spode” Stone China blue printed mark, as used by the factory from 1815-1825. It also has the pattern number, 2061, hand painted in iron red below the printed mark
Overall a high quality decorative English ironstone pottery dish by Spode about 200 years old.
