Vintage Design
Japanese style cabinet in carved wood and painted decoration of animated scenes in cartridges. It opens with two leaves separated by a mirror frame engraved with Far Eastern landscapes. It reveals a cream and gold interior with floral decoration, lined with a mosaic of mirrors and equipped with two drawers. Resting on an openwork and animated base sculpted with foliage, the curved legs are joined by a plinth decorated with a lake scene. Attributed to Maison Jansen Paris, circa 1940, 1950.
