19th century Engish tilt-top pedestal table made in the Chinoiserie revival period. The round table features a birdcage base support mounted to a pedestal style turned column ending with tripod legs. The legs end with claw style feet. The table has an ebonized finish decorated with parcel gilt Asian motif scenes and floral reserves. The lacquer finish has an aged, distressed patina that adds to its character and charm. Could also serve as a center table. From an estate in Napa Valley, CA.
