Armchair ‘Krokus’ designed by Lennart Bender for Ulferts. Sweden, 60s/70s with its distinctive silhouette, the Krokus Armchair harmoniously merges organic shapes and clean lines. The oval-mouthed round base and cylindrical structure create a unique aesthetic that captures the essence of late mid-20th-century Scandinavian design, which is now considered the ”space age”. This sinous design features a rounded shape where every curve and angle have been meticulously crafted to provide both a visually striking appearance and unparalleled comfort, the Name ‘Krokus’ is a tulip-shaped flower where this seat takes its name from, so it is both an organic and abstract design that resembles something natural. Condition: Very good vintage condition. This armchair has been completely reupholstered. The fiberglass structure shows signs of use and the passage of time, giving the piece a unique character.
