Circa 1970/1980 Enchanting Floral & Foliate Hand Painted Glass Pedestal Cake Stand

A favorite pastime of mine has been collecting gorgeously cool cake pedestal cake stands and salvers. It matters not if they are antique, vintage or new; glass or other mediums but they must be unique. Up-the-ante at your next festive gathering with this enchantingly lyrical floral and foliate hand painted glass pedestal cake (or pastry) stand. Hand painted under glass to preserve its beauty for years to come. The floral and foliate scroll pattern accents the plate’s circular border, while the center is filled with a bouquet of the same pattern but on a grander scale. The plate itself is well-made clear glass with no seams and hand painted in cheerful garden hues of yellow, peach, green and pink. The attached Ombre satin glass pedestal base starts out as a pale green hue at the neck descending into a brighter shade of green at the bottom; interior texture of base is smooth. To keep it looking as fabulous as you see in the photos, gentle hand washing is best. This beauty measures 13” x 13” x 4½” W/D/H; weight 2 lbs. 2 oz. In excellent condition with minimal, if any, age-appropriate wear. This beauty is unmarked. Make your tablescape the center of attention with this beauty at your next gathering!
