A rare 18th century Chippendale period mahogany apothecary box with two brass carrying handles to the top, the box opens to reveal blind fret gothic design to the drawer fronts and sliding covers. The slides reveal segmented interiors for bottles and also a hidden spring button to release the two siding covers on the outside, which have small drawers and compartments.
