Vintage Design
The drawers with individual compartments had obvious stickers with labels telling all of its previous uses.
Recast and prepared in Arts and Crafts Design (William Morris)
The piece of furniture has been completely cleaned/disinfected, but there are still stubborn residues of glue, oil, etc.
The entire piece of furniture has been waxed, is painted on the outside with chalk paint (anthracite) and protected with water-based silk varnish.
A drawer was completely replaced because it was missing. Like the original drawers with beech/pine wood and dovetail joints.
All drawers had inserts and all compartment walls had to be replaced.
A particular rarity are the wooden hinges, as an alternative to iron hinges during the First World War.
The bottom drawer deliberately has no handle because it acts like a secret hiding place.
