Vintage Design
A fantastic pair of antique Swedish leather club armchairs. They were recently imported from Sweden, we would date them to around the 1910-20 period.
The quality is outstanding, they are generous in proportion, well sprung and are extremely comfortable. They have beautiful curves, and sit on solid oak legs.
The condition is excellent for their age, with a gorgeous colour and patina, there is just some normal surface wear and crazing to the leather on the front of one arm. We have had them revived and enhanced by our leather restorer, the legs have been re-polished. There is just one tiny repair to the very lower back edge, barely noticeable and seen in the close up images.
