If you like the spiritual and tranquil look and feel of the ancient Chinese style than this incredibly rare and excellent condition wall cabinet from circa 1910-1920 could be perfect for you. It is all handcrafted out of nutwoods and another wood type that looks to be oriental. We cannot find another one like this cabinet, anywhere in the world. Thanks to its practical size and open design this antique could be perfect for displaying some of your favourite netsukes, but it could be used for other purposes as well. All three doors (two sliding) are inlaid with beautifully carved bird & floral motifs. These incredibly detailed motifs are all hand-carved and it must have taken the artisan several days to carve the miniscule details, particularly those in the flowers. Apart from a few missing pieces of inlay, this cabinet is of museum quality and condition. If you like it as much we do then you will love our price. Especially, when taken into account that perfect packing and worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 to 6 days are complimentary.
Maximum height x width x depth: 23.4 x 21 x 5.5 inches.
We have a passion for the unique, for quality, for stylish yet practical and for craftsmanship of years gone by. Your purchases will be extremely well packaged and we look forward to serving you (again).
