Dimensions: H x W x D: 107 x 64 x 62 cm, seat height: 48 cm
Elegant armchair made of solid cherry.
Sitting on finely carved, downward tapering legs at the front and flared square legs at the back. The frame is slightly rounded at the front and straight at the sides and back.
In extension of the front legs, we see two pedestal-like pieces of wood that serve as supports for the curved armrests, which end in volutes.
The high backrest is subtly curved towards the back. A curved crosspiece connects the two side pieces.
Armchairs that are also upholstered at the sides are known as “bergere”. Another feature of this type of furniture is the loosely inserted cushion.
The sides and back are upholstered in plain black fabric, the Q2 Baronesse Lorea 770 from Höpke Textiles. Inside, we opted for a Q2 Baronesse Marcella 780 with floral patterns.
