Antique English Oak Coffer. Early 18th century & later coffer, simple vernacular design with planked hinged lid on later hinges, four fielded panels to the front on stile legs. Dimensions: 117cm x 51.5cm x 72cm. Condition: Solid condition, age and wear commensurate with age, later alterations to the top of the lid, later hinges, later straps to the lid and alterations to the back, evidence of old historic woodworm – this has been treated as a precaution.
