19th century Royal Crown Derby demitasse service, Imari pattern #198, in classical Japanese chinoiserie taste having a beautiful painted Imari palette of birds and foliate decorations- iron red flowers, green leaves and royal blue borders, all gilt highlighted. The set comprises of eight cups and eight saucers and has superb gold gilded outlined stylized handles. The pattern was created in 1882, this is a later edition with the blue Royal Crown Derby stamp. They are in excellent condition, the pattern is crisp and the cups and saucers are bright and shiny.
The cups measure two inches tall by two inches wide. The saucers measure four and one half inches across.
