19th century Chippendale style mahogany blockfront secretary desk. Item features solid mahogany wood construction, dramatic shapely legs terminating with ball and claw feet on the front and back, carved knees, two dovetail constructed drawers, and ornate solid brass hardware. Desk further features wooden dowel construction to the top, shell and acanthus leaf carved drop front with fitted interior, and wooden panel back. Very impressive antique desk and even more attractive in person.
