A pair of antique three arm lyre back sconces. Originally made for use with candles, these sconces have been carefully electrified. The arms have exterior wiring, with a very low profile. New polybeeswax candle covers with realistic drips. The backplate has a contrasting dark patina background, and mounting hardware. Made in the 19th Century.

Pair of Lion Electric double arm brass sconces. Shield shape backplate and two arms with a center fleur de lys and loops. Crenelated bobeches below the sockets are punched with rounded cross and diamond shapes. Solid cast brass. Made in the USA around 1930. Gothic or Renaissance Revival Style. Completely restored and rewired, ready to hang. brass has been cleaned and hand polished, maintaining some original patina.

Cast Aluminum sconces with original polychrome enamel finish. Neogothic style. Single Arm. Shield form backplate. These sconces are in a very common style but unusual for their aluminum construction, they are strong but incredibly light. They were made during a time period before world war II when cheap aluminum was available and was being promoted in the decorative arts. These sconces have been cleaned, the original painted finish has some wear as expected for its age. Completely rewired and otherwise in very good condition. Ready to install.

A wonderful pair of vintage palm leaf wall lamp sconces. The sconces feature a metal and resin material body with white shade and bee’s wax candle sleeves. The color is a slightly darker antique gold. They’re beautiful light fixtures, for hardwire installation.
