A fine American mahogany Chippendale drop-leaf table with two deep leaves, each measuring 18″. The centre and both leaves are one board wide. The legs have a bead detail on outer corner and are chamfered on the inner corner. Two legs turn out to support the leaves when fully extended. The corners of the table are rounded.

The table fully open measures 43 X 52.5″ and can easily see eight persons.

19th Century mahogany Pembroke table with Chippendale-style legs. This table features delicate beaded edging on the twin fold-out leaves which sit above a single end drawer with circular brass handles and simple inlay detailing, balanced by a false drawer on the opposite end. Below this the legs are joined with an intricately carved X-frame stretcher surmounted with blossoming foliate motif terminating on raised scrolled feet.
