Chippendale pie crust tilt top table, the one board top has a beautiful color and patina, fabulous swirl grain and “pie crust” edge, the ” birdcage” below allows the top to spin; shaft with swirl rope carving at the base. The tripod legs have detailed carving on the knees and feet. The interesting thing to note is that wood shrinks across the grain as it ages, this top is 26” wide with the grain and across the grain it is 25.38”.
