Antique Chippendale style kneehole writing desk featuring rectangular form with bowfront, eight drawers, brass batwing hardware and polished glass top. Originally purchased at the Rike Kumler Company in Dayton, Ohio. Marked via their tag along the underside 550 Kneehole Desk. Rikes was one of the largest departments stores when it opened, remaining in business until they were bought out by Lazarus.
