In the style of Thomas Chippendale, a lovely American 18th century tilt-top table in mahogany that, historically, doubled as a candlestand. The square top is cut in curves at the corners and rests on a tripod pedestal whose column ends in a vase turning with cabriole legs on snake head feet. North Shore, Massachusetts, circa 1760-1780.
