Black wood Saratoga coffee table by Lella and Massimo Vignelli for Poltronova, 1960s. Coffee table belonging to the Saratoga series, square with a rigid structure made by assembling three elements of equal thickness in lacquered and painted wood in black, of which the two lateral ones of equal length act as a side and support. Produced by Poltronova in approx. 1960. and designed by Lella and Massimo Vignelli in 1964. They are part of a series that includes an entire living room. Vintage condition regarding finish, but good structural condition. Measurements in cm 91x91x32h This is not just a coffee table but it is a piece of design history written by two great Italian masters, known throughout the world, Massimo and Lella Vignelli for the great company Poltronova with which they often collaborated.
