The base is a tall hollow square adorned with hand carved Asian details on all four sides including a carved X shaped Asian inspired riser on top of the base which holds the fabulous round glass top. This carved design which is on the outside corners of the X, reminds us of clouds or a burst of wind and is the same carved design that Raymond Sobota used in his Chin Hua line.
