A petite ceramic ice bucket with a floral hand-painted design. This small vessel could be used in several ways. It could serve as an ice pail, wine cooler, biscuit holder or even as a vase for fresh flowers. (Side note: We’ve tested it, and it holds water with no leaks!) On each side are two green ceramic handles in a square shape. The round lid has a green geometric design around the edges, as well as hand-painted bouquets of flowers around the top handle. A woven wicker handle is affixed to each of the handles on the side for carrying. The body of the bucket features painted bouquets of flowers in blue, yellow, pink, and green. The bottom of the piece is marked with “Made in Japan” in black. The composition feels a lot like ironstone to us. There are several hairline cracks, chips, and discoloration throughout which only add to its character. We’ve water-tested it to make sure it holds water with no drips. This will be a fabulous addition to a bar cart, bar, or coffee table.
