Rare large desk. Rosewood veneer, heavy, thick side acrylic glass. Brass surround. Two drawers. France 1970s.
The extremely heavy, decorative desk in the “Space Age style” is reminiscent of objects by Poul Norreklit, but comes more from France. The elegant organic shape, the brass strips and the appearance speak for a French object.
The desk has slight signs of wear commensurate with age in the rosewood veneer and acrylic glass. See detailed photos. The specified length refers to the back area. The beautiful oval shape gives it a slight elegance. The length in the front area is 165 cm.
