Vintage Design
A set of dining, desk or office chairs, in short, perfect for any environment that needs a bit of that 80s magic. Colour, lightness and light-heartedness is what the cult pieces of 80s design transmit but don’t be fooled by the POP colors used by Rodney Kinsman for his projects because they have nothing to do with the colorful, exuberant and decorative Anti Design of the collective Memphis. For example, the rare “Vienna” model chairs that we offer here on first dibs are a manifesto of pure functionalism that has renounced the solid-color look. These chairs come from an architectural studio that placed them around a meeting table. We offer them for sale in their original vintage condition, which means that there are signs of use and ageing, which you can see in the photos. The structure of the armchairs is in painted tubal steel frame and the padded parts are upholstered in cotton. The comfortable cylindrical back recall the ” Seconda ” armchair designed by Mario Botta for Alias.
