Vintage Design
Two twin shelves perfect for being positioned symmetrically on the sides of a door or for use as a room divider. This pair of vintage bookcases are probably made in Italy during the space age era, between 1960 and 1970 and were made with high quality materials. The structure is made up of uprights in solid beech wood stained, and not lacquered, in an amaranth color which recalls the wooden essence of mahogany. The smoky green glass is set by chromed metal shelves, which surround the wooden uprights like tall tribal bracelets, making them stand out. The contrast between the mahogany-colored wood and the chromed metal is truly stunning, making these etageres sophisticated and elegant. The bookcases are in good vintage condition. They show minimal signs of wear visible in the photos. Minimal signs of oxidation on the chrome and some marks on the wood at the feet. Reach out for any questions.
